During the beginning of his career, he was linked to Amy Ferson. While it is unclear when they met or began dating, the two were married through 2007. Their union resulted in two children, Brianna and Jaiden.
Some years afterwards, the now Atlanta-based news anchor married his now estranged wife, Marilee Fiebig. He and Fiebig got married in Memphis, TN, and have one child together, Sabine. Their union seems like it was plagued with issues, as Holmes posted some very backhanded anniversary dedications over the years, seemingly questioning why his wife stayed with him and alluding to possible infidelity. He even joked about how he could have stayed single in Atlanta because it had so many beautiful women.
While Holmes and Marilee are still married, they reportedly split sometime in August before he got caught with Amy Robach. However, insiders reported that he had several well-known affairs internally at ABC, including a producer named Natasha Singh and another woman. Marilee released a statement yesterday saying she was “disappointed” by her exes’ “lack of discretion” during their split.
Amy Robach is in a similar boat, with her ex-husband also distancing himself from her following them selling their New York condo only weeks before the affair went public. Meanwhile, Amy and TJ have been living it up over the holiday season. They were spotted in New York holding hands and seeming very happy.
TJ’s playboy way date back for years. It is unclear if he cheated on his first wife as well, but recently it resurfaced that he also dated pop star Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas at some point between 2006 and 2007. However, he was still married until 2007, so it’s possible those relationships overlapped.
TMZ reported that some insiders confirmed Chilli and Holmes dated while he was working in Atlanta. They say she frequently visited the CNN office, and the pair was very affectionate. While some claim they dated over a year, others feel it was closer to a few months. Chilli has historically been single and on the hunt for love, and TJ Holmes joins a long list of high-profile men she has been able to court, including Usher, Dallas Austin, Floyd Mayweather, and Marlon Wayans. However, Chilli is now IG official with ’90s teen heartthrob Matthew Lawerence and seems very happy.
