TJ Holmes and Amy Robach may be free to flaunt their love now, but fans are still trying to pick their pasts apart to find any additional dirt on them. TJ has gotten the bulk of the bad press, as it has been revealed that he is a serial cheater and has been unfaithful to his wife for years. Robach, on the other hand, seemed to be a bit unscathed, having already ended her marriage and left her husband.
This story continues to be so funny to me. I understand the sneaky link part. But, how/why did they leave their spouses when they both have a history of being cheaters? 😂😂😂 It just seems silly. 🤠#AmyRobach #TJHolmes #andrewshue #GMA pic.twitter.com/9fuRCFLSg4

Unfortunately, the internet is forever, and Amy had some comments come back to haunt her. Back in 2016, when everyone was accusing the Oscars of being “too white,” Amy was one of many reporters who had to discuss the issue. The Academy Awards got a lot of hate for their lack of diversity, following them shutting out such powerful performances as Samuel L. Jackson in The Hateful Eight, Michael B. Jordan in Creed, and Will Smith in Concussion.
While filing in for Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, Amy reported on the Oscar issues and said the phrase “colored people” instead of “people of color.” She said “…in what one might assume should be a role reserved for colored people.” Amy quickly called the incident a mistake and expressed that it was not at all a reflection of who she is or how she speaks in everyday life. People on social media said, “#amyrobach ‘Colored people’? Honest? Last time I recall that term, it was either Edith Wharton or Virginia Woolf.” Others dismissed the drama and pointed out that the prominent black organization NAACP stands for “National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.”
In light of her recently being outed for her relationship with black co-host TJ Holmes, people have resurfaced the moment. The moment news broke of their affair, people tweeted things like “TJ Holmes and Amy Robach? As in the Amy Romach who said ‘colored people’ on live tv a few years back?” and “The white lady Amy Robach who TJ Holmes cheated with called Black people’ colored people’ a few years ago……..& kept her job and obviously got a new man in the midst of it.” She also got heat for calling Colin Kaepernick “divisive” several years ago.
Despite it all, TJ Holmes seems to be all in. The former GMA3 co-hosts reportedly spent Christmas together alone. It was also reported today that TJ Holmes has officially filed for divorce from wife of 12 years. TJ Holmes and Marilee Fiebig married in 2010 and share a 9-year-old daughter.
