Tiffany Haddish Reveals The Only Reason Thing That Would Stop Her From Filming Girls Trip 2

Tiffany Haddish has been trying to rebuild her public image after the scandal that derailed her career. The actress has not been getting much love from the public following the resurfacing of an Aries Spears sketch that should have never been made. She is gearing up to return to the role that made her a star, but fans and critics are already pushing back at her involvement in Girls Trip 2.

Tiffany Haddish informed fans last year that she had lost all her work following the Aries Spears sketch fiasco. Despite settling out of court with the family, it appeared much of her upcoming films had been pushed out or shelved. Cosmopolitan Travel decided to move forward with a cover feature, but that caused some backlash as well. Under a post of the August issue, some people said, “Jail is calling you.” Another person flat-out called her all kinds of names.

Haddish co-starred in a film titled “Here Today” with Billy Crystal that was overshadowed by the drama as well. “Here Today is a very underrated movie that you can see on Sky Cinema,” tweeted one of the people involved in it. A fan in the comments said, “Anything with you in it is [trash can emoji].”

Her comedy shows also received some backlash, as people did not think she should be out on the road while having such strong allegations about her in the media. Her shows would end up getting postponed due to rain, but many fans figured it was in connection to the case. “Sure wish I hadn’t seen her snarky side. True colors!” said one person.

While Girls Trip director Will Packer said, there is no way he could make a sequel without Tiffany, fans seem to think otherwise. When it was announced that they would be reuniting the women and taking them to Africa, many were hoping it would be sans Haddish. “They really trying to continue girl’s trip 2 with Tiffany Haddish like we didn’t see the nasty video she did with Aries Spears?” Many hoped she would be recast with Janelle James.

When TMZ caught up with Haddish, the comedian had words for her ‘social media’ haters and admitted she’s more than happy to return for Girls Trip 2. As far as the backlash, Haddish says she doesn’t have an opinion. The comedian refuses to allow haters to stop her from returning to the film and leaves the decision to her costars. TIffany makes it clear as long as her costars want her to do the movie she’s there.

The production of Girls Trip 2 has not began yet.. Despite the recent announcement, Haddish is unsure the movie will happen or not. “They say it every year,” the comedian stated.
