Former Basketball Wives star Tami Roman married Reggie Youngblood in secret on August 17, 2018, reports PEOPLE. But prior to their relationship, the star of The Ms. Pat Show was married to former New Jersey Nets player Kenny Anderson. From their union, she bore two daughters.Tami Roman’s first daughter, Lyric, was born in 1994. Her second daughter, Jazz, followed in 1996. However, her husband, Reggie Youngblood, age 35, has no children.
While they have no children together, Tami Roman, 52, desires to expand her family with her husband. However, in 2021, she appeared on The Real to explain that she was willing to allow her husband to have a baby with someone else while they took a break. In addition, Tami Roman explained that she was ready to co-parent with Reggie Youngblood to help raise the child. But she also shared that her husband wasn’t looking to go that route.
When Tami Roman’s comments were made public, she received an amount of backlash from women on social media who disagreed with her sentiments. Some called her “dumb,” while others stated that this decision might backfire on her. But it appears that her words were misconstrued, and Tami Roman would like to offer some clarity. She explained during a recent interview with Revolt that the “break” she was referring to was him accompanying her on the road and taking time to find a suitable surrogate for them. In addition, she detailed the lengthy process of finding a surrogate. Tami Roman also made it clear that she was not encouraging Reggie Youngblood to cheat on her.
