Nelly and Ashanti are back together, and fans are eager to see if the hip-hop power couple will finally make things official with marriage and kids. While Ashanti has expressed her interest in becoming a mother in recent years, it has not been confirmed if she and the “Country Grammar” star were planning to do so together. Nelly teased fans on IG Live, claiming that a baby might be coming sooner than they think.
While hanging out at a basketball game, a person asked Nelly about having children with the “Foolish” vocalist. The rapper grinned heavily before responding, “For some reason I think it’s coming! I think it’s coming though!” Fans in the comments were excited for the pair, with one responding, “This the happiest I seen him in years ❤️” Nelly is already a father of two, Chanelle Haynes and Cornell Haynes Jr. Ashanti has yet to have any children.
The same fan page shared images of the duo during a show in Vegas. Ashanti wrapped her arms around Nelly and interacted with nearby fans. “You can tell the love is just so genuine 🤧🤧 So happy for @ashanti,” the fan page posted. Nelly and Ashanti have been quietly getting reacquainted and seem to be in a really good space. They even attended a boxing match recently and sat ringside with Jermaine Dupri. “I’m so happy for them; they both look genuinely happy together,” noted another fan.
Ashanti and Nelly dated quietly for almost a decade before spending another decade apart. It looks like things are much better for them this time around.
