Wendy Williams spent years allowing her husband, Kevin Hunter, to have his fun. The couple’s unique union meant that Williams could focus on her work all day while Hunter played manager and executive producer. While Wendy was able to flaunt the dream family life, Kevin had his own life behind the scenes, eventually resulting in him fathering a child with his now fiance Sabrina.
Wendy Williams filed for divorce in 2019 after decades of marriage and one son. Williams reportedly handed Kevin his divorce papers and his pink slip on the same day, sending him packing. Hunter did not seem too phased, however, as he was able to go off and live the dream life with his lady and raise their baby together. Up until recently, he was also still pocketing money from Wendy in the form of alimony/severance pay. Now that Wendy is no longer working, Kevin Hunter is no longer able to collect money from the former TV host due to a clause in their divorce agreement.
Wendy Williams opened up about the split before her massive fall out of the spotlight. While she was still coherent, Williams admits that Kevin had been seeing other women since the beginning. She says she’s known about it all since the start but seemed to ignore it. “We were married for almost 22 years. We were together for 25 years,” Williams said. “I don’t regret the day of meeting him. I don’t regret putting up with him for all 25 years.” Williams says she was also aware of the other woman in his life, who had been in the picture for 15 years.
One former co-worker eventually sued Kevin and Wendy Williams due to Kevin’s indiscretions. In addition to the former employee, Aveon Falstar also claimed to have a close connection to Kevin Hunter. While Kevin has denied in the past and said he would take legal action, he never did.
