Celebrity Men Are Now Apologizing To Megan Thee Stallion Following Tory Lanez Verdict

Megan Thee Stallion was on the receiving end of a lot of hate during her trial with Tory Lanez. The “Body” hitmaker was accused by many of lying and trying to set the rapper up. Industry men, in particular, were hard on her, alleging that she was wrong for lying about her intimate relationship with Tory. Now that Meg has been proven to be telling the truth, people are taking to social media to demand apologies from the men who did not believe her.

Joe Budden went viral back in December during the trial when he came right out and admitted to just not liking Megan Thee Stallion. His reasoning was that he felt her dishonestly made her unlikeable, and he questioned why she would not admit to sleeping with Tory in early interviews. People came down on Budden hard, including Vivica A. Fox. While he had a pretty tasteless clap back for Fox, Budden would eventually issue an apology to Megan.

Joe says that he decided to apologize to Meg after several important women in his life came forward to educate him on the harm his comments could cause. Joe said he would never forgive himself if Megan harmed herself following so many people not believing her and opted instead to show his support by apologizing. “I’m apologizing for the careless manner in which I joked about her mental health. That didn’t sit right with my soul and my spirit.”

50 Cent was another person who jumped on the Megan Thee Stallion hate train during her week-long court dates. Fifty compared Megan to Jussie Smollett, who is accused of lying about a hate crime in 2019. 50 Cent recently clarified his posts and apologized to Meg as well. During an interview with Big Boy, 50 Cent says his doubts stemmed from the Gayle King interview where Meg hesitated when asked if she’d slept with Lanez. Following that, he no longer believed her. However, when he heard the phone call between Lanez and Kelsey, he realized he was wrong.

In the phone call, Lanez reached out to Kelsey from jail to basically apologize for what happened and blamed being drunk on his actions. Eyewitnesses from that evening said the rapper was acting erratic and jumping around while shooting. Lawyers tried to decypher the call to see what exactly he was apologizing for and concluded that it had to be for the shooting.

The only person who has not come forward to apologize to Megan is Drake. He made a pun about her shooting on his album Her Loss with 21 Savage that did not sit right with people and completely overshadowed the project. People took to Twitter demanding he speaks up now that Meg has been proven to be telling the truth. “Drake need to say sum and apologize to Megan right now,” said one person.

Another person said, “So now that Tory was found guilty, I wonder how Drake feels about his bar on #Circoloco saying Megan was lying about getting shot.”
