Apryl Jones has been a single woman for some time now and in high demand as a result, it seems. While she was once Omarion’s woman and the mother of his kids, the Love and Hip Hop star has been a free agent for some time now and enjoying the dating scene. Most recently, Jones has been linked to actor Taye Diggs. He is not the first person she’s dated since splitting from Omarion. Jones and Omarion dated for several years before taking their romance to the Love and Hip-Hop: LA series. At the time, Jones claimed she only went on the show as a way to help rehabilitate Omarion’s reputation, as many people assumed that he might be gay. Apryl explained that his management thought it would be a good idea for him to appear on the show with a woman. She was not in love with the idea but did it anyway.
Following their stint on the show and welcoming two kids, they decided to go their separate ways, and things have seemed less than amicable. Jones vented over the summer about Omarion “serving” her with papers every time they had to interact. She was not clear on the paperwork, but some speculated that Omarion was seeking full custody.

When they split, fans of B2K were immediately shocked to see that she had moved on with Omarion’s group member Lil Fizz. At the time, it was super awkward since Omarion and Fizz were in the middle of touring together. Even worst, Jones and Lil Fizz’s baby mother Monice Slaughter were both Love and Hip Hop cast members and former friends. The problematic union eventually ended with the two expressing their regrets about hooking up in the first place.
Fizz recently got on stage during Omarion and Bow Wow’s Scream Tour to apologize to his former bandmate and admit that what he did was not cool. Monice Slaughter was not a fan of their union, obviously, so when she found out that Jones had moved on with Dr. Dre, she was sure to spill what tea she knew for social media. Dre was in the middle of his divorce to Nicole Young, with many speculating that Jones was one of the mistresses Young accused Dre of “funding” during their marriage. Dre and Jones were spotted pulling up to the BOA Steakhouse in Los Angeles around the same time. Although Jones wore a mask, fans of the reality star/social media influencer were quick to point out her tattoos.
However, Jones is on to the next and seems like she’s got a new beau. “Rent” star Taye Diggs and Apryl Jones were spotted together this week. Paparazzi caught them getting out of a car together to attend Jennifer Klein’s Christmas party. While Jones ran off ahead of Taye, he eventually caught up to her, and the two shared a laugh as they waited to enter while paparazzi looked on. They made sure not to hold hands or alert the press to anything else going on outside of the “sharing a ride.”
